We value our privacy here at WizPip, and we'd like to think that we treat our clients and prospective clients the same way. Whenever you submit information to us via online forms, emails, post, and carrier pigeons, you consent to its collection and use as outlined in this policy.
We may use your information to communicate with you via email and post. It's possible we'll call you if we need to, but we like email because it's self documenting. You can opt-out of marketing at any time, but we may still need to send you important service communication.
What we collect
Our web server, like most web servers, logs details of your internet protocol address ("IP"), the pages you've visited, and header information which your web browser has revealed to our server.
Additionally, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymous information about where our visitors are from, how they arrived on the site, and the sort of technology they're using such as a mobile phone or desktop. This information is collected by Google on our behalf and stored on their servers.
Clients will be given access to an online account. This will contain personal information such as your name, address, email address, and any details of your project that have been submitted to us.
Disclosure of information
We may share your data with third party suppliers such as contractors, agents or professional advisers appointed by us to assist us in providing our services, facilities and products.
In no other case, unless obliged to do so by law, will we sell, rent, lease or otherwise share your data with third parties, unless you have provided your specific, positive and unambiguous consent.
How we use your data
We use the data you supply to us to supply our services to you. Anonymous information collected about you from Google is used to improve our services by finding out which demographic we need to support, and if we're supporting old tech that's no longer used by our users.
We will use your email address to send you important service messages where required, such as news about products we are creating or have provided to you. From time to time we may inform you about new products and services; you may opt-out of this list at any time.
Cookies
We use cookies. It's a legal requirement for all sites in the EU to tell you this, and to make the information easily available. We've made a separate page where you can read all about cookies.
Maintaining the information we hold about you
We aim to keep the data we hold about you accurate and up to date. If at any time you want to verify, update or amend any data we hold about you or if you become aware of possible errors or inaccuracies in that data, please send us a message via our contact form or your online account.
Links to third party sites
Our website contains links to other sites, such as social media and articles linked to in our blog. We can take no responsibility for what happens to you after you leave our website. Be careful out there!
Security
We take security seriously. All information sent via our website is transmitted via industry standard SSL/TLS security protocols, to prevent potential snooping by computers between you and us. We hash and salt your passwords into an irreversible string using the most current hashing algorithms.
Unfortunately no transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, whilst we strive to protect your data we cannot legally say that your data is impenetrable. But we can say that in the unlikely event our website is hacked, your passwords will be unusable to an attacker in the way they're stored. And that's more than can be said of many high level websites you've heard about in the news over the last few years!
