C:\Program Files (x86)\Safari
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

Instead I removed:
C:\ProgramData\Apple\Installer Cache\Apple Application Support
and
C:\Program Files\Safari

That did it for me.

I solved the problem by uninstalling other apple-windows software from earlier versions, with the normal Windows programs support program from the configuration window. • Uninstall with Windows program support: o Safari o Apple Application Support o Apple Software Update o Bonjour Then I reinstalled Safari from a fresh download,and that solved the problem for me, without any deletion of folders!
